A review
On June 5th, 2015, the exhibition “Ideas 2020” started with a grand opening in Saint Petersburg. The exhibition was exhibited in the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications. About 100 guests participated among others top-ranking politicians, scientists and represantatives of the local economy. The interest of the local media was very high.
The opening was supported by the German House of Research and Innovation (DWIH) in Moscow.
In Saint Petersburg about 3,800 people visited the exhibition.
The Special Event…
On Friday, June 5th 2015 – as part of the grand opening of the exhibition – the author Tobias Hülswitt read from his books. The title was “Live forever? The problem of mortality from scientific and literary perspective.” Tobias Hülswitt discussed the question what it means to be human and mortal. With this profound question he “hit the mark” of the audience. The reading was part of the Year of German Language and Literature in Russia and was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
